Self-Publishing, Here I Come ... Again!

A few weeks ago, I received the latest rejection notice from a literary agent. It was April 2025 when I sent out over 100 queries. I'm not sure how many emails I received from them, beyond the knee-jerk response of "if you don't hear from me, that means I hate your stuff." Those weren't their words, obviously. Many of the auto-responses were quite nice. But a rejection is a rejection.
In the past nine months, I have been very busy working on writing projects, my own as well as others, so the time has not been wasted.

But now that the new year has begun, I will turn my attention to self-publishing my latest novel, Eternal Moments, through Amazon. Then I will use helpful platforms like Shepherd.com to promote it. I believe it's a distinctive novel, combining action with the contemplation of a science-spiritual connection being played out in our lives every day. More information will be forthcoming as time passes.
For now, all I wanted to say is that my blog is back, and I intend to return to regular notices (every other Wednesday, maybe) about the process of self-publishing and how . . . challenging it is. In this case, "challenging" means entirely unsuccessful and unfulfilling, but that's in the past. Eternal Moments represents a new beginning, and I hope the readers of this blog will join me on the journey.
